MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I am very thankful for family this time of year. We always seem to be running around with out heads cut off trying to fit everyone in and make everyone happy, but I would not change it for anything. We love to be able to see out families and are blessed to live close enough to see them. I don't know what we would do without them. They save us when we need a babysitter and they feed us, saving me from cooking. They laugh with us and make memories with us. We love to go a do things together and hang out at their houses. We really would be lost without them.

Soooo, THANK YOU FAMILY!

I am thankful everyday for such great examples for our children and for the love you give them. They love their Grandparents and cousins and Aunts/Uncles etc. My children are excited when anyone of you visit or we run into you or we visit you. They think that all children we visit are their cousins. Which is a compliment since they love to see their cousins. I hope everyone thinks of their families this holiday season and I hope everyone has a peaceful (the soul kind maybe not the physical kind), joyful and merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was fun due mostly to the great weather. The kids got to play with their cousins on the 4wheeler and play basketball with uncle Braden. Wayne's mom made a good turkey too.

ALL BY MYSELF!

Macky, Macky, Macky... Wayne went to play Basketball the other night and had to tape his ankle so that he doesn't kill himself. I didnt really pay attention but obviously Mack did. After Wayne left I sat in a lounge chair and watched Dancing with the Stars finale I had recorded. It wasnt until Mack asked for some scissors that I realized why he'b been so quiet. (I thought he was as into the show as I was). I looked over the pillows to see this. I died laughing. He not only did a perfect replica of his dad's job but used almost the whole roll of tape. I could not believe he even left his little toes hanging out like dad! I had to immediately take off the tape since his toes were turning purple. He had wrapped it up pretty tight. Crazy kid!

Twilight

Well, I went to Twilight and was pleasantly surprised with the movie. There were a few things I thought would have been different, but for a movie of a book it was great! And clever! I never have liked vampire movies or books and I love this series. Eventhough it is definantly written for a younger age group then I fit into. I was not the oldest one there I was glad to see. I also heard they bought the movie rights to the other books so I look forward to those. I don't really think that guy is gorgeous they casted for Edward but by the end of the show he'd grown on me.

toilet monster

Mack was going potty before bed last night, this is what I caught him doing.

He was lifting the lids saying "raar, raar, it's a shark mommy, the shark is going to eat me, raar." I don't know why but I busted up laughing and could not stop. The mind of a child is so funny and creative. I shouldn't encourage playing with the toilet but I can't tell him to not be imaginative.

Anything to delay bedtime.

New Beds!

A great advantage to having Wayne involved with the young men is that we can have them do service projects for us (It benefits them as well). They helped us haul in the new bunkbed set we got. Wayne found it off the trading post at work. It is hardly used and was what I was looking for, plus half the price as new. It has a desk on the end and draws and shelves. It is a little tight in their room with the crib too but eventually I'll feel like letting Tuckyr out of his crib. It is too easy not having two trying to sleep with us every other night.

Tuesday

The young men came to our house for their activity on Tuesday night. They cooked baked potatoes and played Xbox while waiting for them to cook. Great activity. It was loud having 8 boys under 16 in our house together.

Whenever I have the camera out Tuckyr starts saying "cheese" I think it was his first word beside mommy and daddy. He loves pictures. Like his chocolate lip liner?
Mack also has to be the center of attention when anyone else is.

Recent Changes

I wanted to have 3 columns but the background I like doesn't fit! So bear with me eventhough it doesn't exactly fit. I can't find that many 3 column backgrounds that I like. :( I'll keep looking but for now this will have to do.

I just got tickets to see Twilight next Friday night! I am excited to see if I will be disappointed in the show.

Happy Halloween!

Tuckyr was a cute skunk if you couldn't tell. His bum says "Little Stinker". The little Lion in Isaac Shumway, our nephew who is 10 mos. old he liked the skunk a lot and wanted to hold on, but Tuckyr wasn't so sure.

Issac, Tuckyr, Shane and Mack. Issac and Shane are Bonny's boys, she is Wayne's sister. Shane is 8 mos younger than Mack and Isaac is 7 mos younger than Tuckyr. I think they will have loads of fun together as they get older.

Happy Halloween!

I spray painted Mack's hair red for fun and Tuckyr's was to be black with a white stripe but the black got mixed in the white and he ended up looking like an old balding gray haired man.

Tuckyr, Sarah (my little sister who is 10) and Mack. They went with her around my parents neighborhood.

Tuckyr stopped dead in his tracks when he saw this and just stared at it. I think he was trying to figure out just what it was.

Shane and Mack had to play in the leaves when we got to Granny Poole's house.

Macky Story of the Day

Today grandma picked up Mack and Tuckyr from Shelby's house who was kind enough to watch them. As they drove through the intersections Mack was telling Grandma what to do. "It's green go Grandma!" At 3 1/2 he is a wonderful backseat driver already. "Stop Grandma! The light is Red!" I am thankful he knows his colors but this is part of the consequences. So Grandma asked, "If green is go and Red means stop, what does yellow mean?" Mack readily replied, "Go fast and get there!"

Halloween Carnival

We had a Halloween Carnival at our chuch by the young men and women. Mack and Tuckyr had fun but Mack gets shy and honory around lots of people. Tuckyr could care less what people are around as long as someone will pick him up on demand. Neither wanted paint on their faces. Tuckyr wiped off what little I did get on. Oh well!

Yummy donuts! He wasn't suppose to use his hands :)

It was a great turn out and thanks so much to those who put it on. IT WAS FUN!

us

The only smile I could get out of Tuckyr.
Mack wanted to go outside and ride his bike
so bad I had to bribe him to sit still a few minutes.

Mack had to be upside down and wanted me to take pictures over and over. He's such a silly boy. Don't mind the purple curtains that don't match a thing. It's just that kind of room.

I finally finished my projects! Yeah! Super Saturday was awsome! These ideas were so cute that even though I am not crafty I had to attempt them. There are six different pictures up there but I couldn't get them to seperate even a little. I'm still trying to get used to this blog thing.

Wayne New York

Lee and Wyane in Elisabeth Town, NJ.

Wayne went to New York in the end of August with his cousin Josh and a few friends. They wanted to go to the original Yankee Stadium before it was torn down. They also took a bus over to Boston one day and caught a Redsox game. His younger brother Lee is serving a mission in Morristown, New Jeresey right now. His Mission President okayed Wayne to take Lee out to lunch while he was there too. Wayne loved that! The pictures are fun and he's glad I didn't go because he didn't want to see any Broadway plays.
Lee gets home in March or April 2009. We are counting down the days. He is a good missionary and we are proud of the work he is doing.

Yellowstone Park 08

We traveled to Yellowstone Park on 10/5/2008. We usually see
tons of Buffalo and ended up seeing about 10 altogether.
We did see some big elk in Mammoth and a few tourists.
It was getting chilly so we didn't do alot of walking around.
We love to travel but need a better vehicle to do it in
then the diesel truck.
